Show tickets selling fast
If you are missing those Summer Nights get down to the Dunblane Centre next week.
Tickets for the Centre’s latest production are expected to go like Greased Lightning.
Following the success of the Addams Family last year, local teens are taking to the stage again this year for the Dunblane Centre’s annual Show in a Week Senior.
And it’s another iconic offering.
This year they will be presenting the much-loved musical Grease running from Thursday, October 20, until Saturday, October 22.
Centre manager Gemma Connell said: “We all know and love this fantastic production which portrays the typical American High School with the cool kids, the geeks, the cheerleaders and the quirky teachers.
“The love story between Sandy and Danny features all the Grease classics. You know you’ll be singing along to You’re the One That I Want, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You, We Go Together, Grease Is The Word and, of course, Greased Lightnin’.”
Director Pamela Mackie added: “The kids have been rehearsing since Monday and are working really hard. They’ve made amazing progress.
“It’s not easy to learn a show in a week, especially one so popular with the teens taking on so many lead roles.
“This is a great show and we’re all really excited for opening night.
“Tickets are selling really quickly so be sure to get yours early to avoid disappointment.”
The tickets are £8 adult and £6 concession and are available from the Centre or online at www. theatreindunblane.co.uk.
