Phototips atLochside workshop

-

Award-winning Venachar Lochside Cafe and Callander photographer David Warnock have joined forces to host a special workshop this weekend.

The day will focus on nature, travel and landscape photography and will be a mixture of indoor discussions and outdoor sessions and takes place at the cafe on Saturday, April 8 from 10am-4pm.

David said that those interested in the workshop should note that it is not a digital photography course or a computing course about how to use Photoshop.

“We’ll be getting back to basics covering topics such as a brief history of nature, travel and landscape photography; what makes a good photograph; a ‘workers co-operative’ discussion on camera kit and presentations.”

He added: “We’ll also try to get outdoors to put theory into practice. Please don’t worry if you don’t have a top-of-the-range camera just bring whatever you have, a mobile or compact camera is fine!

“The course is all about getting inspired to take the best photo you can and enjoying a fun and enjoyable day in one of the best venues in Scotland!”

The workshop costs £50 including a simple soup and sandwich lunch. For further details of the workshop please contact David on 01877 330159 or 07811 779926 or email warnocks@ tinyworld.co.uk.
