And this week you could find yourself in the company of Peter May who has enjoyed a phenomenally successful few years since his Lewis trilogy rocketed him to the top of book charts across the world.

Cast Iron is the latest in Peter’s Enzo Macleod series which is sure to feature when the author appears at this year’s Bloody Scotland Festival.

We have three pairs of tickets to be won for Peter May’s appearance at the Albert Halls, Stirling, on Saturday, September 9, at 2pm. Simply email your entry to:info@ bloodyscotland.com with the subject: MAY. Please include your name, address and contact number.

Michael Ridpath’s Amnesia is also set in the Highlands and tells of an old man who wakes to find he’s killed the only woman he ever loved.
