Miners Welfare Social Club Bingo on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm. Community council Meets in the community centre on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm. Stirling Christadel­phian Church hour at the church at 40 Main Street is held every Sunday from 2.30pm, with Sunday school at the same time. Craft Club The club resumes in September in Allan Church Hall. Flower Show On Saturday, September 2, a flower show will be held in Allan Church Hall. There will be flower and vegetable competitio­ns as well as baking, knitting and flower arranging contests. There will also be a competitio­n for the children. Anyone wishing to place an entry should ensure they have a copy of the schedule. Exhibitors should bring their entries to the church between 9am and 11am as judging will begin at noon. Teas will be served on the day from 1.45pm. Lunch club Meets on Wednesdays in the Crawford Hall, Colquhoun Street, 1-3pm and the older members of the community are invited to go on their own or with a friend or carer.
