- Staff reporter

Forth Valley College’s new evening course programme for autumn 2017 has been launched.

A wide variety of certificated courses and leisure classes will be offered from the college’s campuses in Alloa, Falkirk and Stirling.

Certificated courses include National 5s, Highers, Higher National Certificates and Diplomas, and Professional Development Awards. Some examples of leisure classes on offer include Italian, Life Drawing, Creative Writing, Photography, Woodworking and Practical Cake Craft.

The full programme can be viewed on the college website and online applications are now live.

College Principal Dr Ken Thomson said: “We offer an extensive range of evening courses with something to suit everyone.

“Our certificated courses may appeal to those interested in a career change or those hoping to develop in their current role but who don’t have the time to commit to a full-time college programme.

“Our leisure classes are also an excellent way to further develop an existing interest or pursue a new hobby. There’s a real social aspect to these classes too and they offer a great way to meet likeminded people who share your interests.

“Even if an evening course isn’t something you’re currently considering, I’d encourage you to have a look at what’s on offer to see if something grabs your attention.”
