Good turnout at 35th annual event

There was a good turnout for the 35th annual Thornhill Flower Show held in the community hall.

Chairman Norman McBean welcomed everyone and then handed over to former chairman Ian Bain, who presented this year’s trophies.

The committee would like to thank all the exhibitors, judges, stewards and conveners for their help and a special thank you goes to raffle donors, especially the Lion and Unicorn Hotel; Mains Farm Wigwams; Buttercup Cafe; Old Leckie Farm and BenView Garden Centre and this year’s judges Jim Mitchell (paintings), Jim Struthers (flowers), Janet Iffla (industrial and floral art) and Walter McGowan (vegetables).
