Members and friends enjoyed the Stirling, Clackmannan and West Perthshire Federation Whist Drive in the Albert Hall last Wednesday.

The winners were: 1 Agnes McQueen, Croftamie, 2 Fiona Clark, Kippen, 3 Jean Gibson, Balfron, consolation Anne Muirhead, Gargunnock.

Tasty bites from the splendid demonstration of traybakes etc from Celebrity Cooks Helen and Dianne, were enjoyed at the October meeting in the Reading Room last week. Mora welcomed everyone and dealt with business.

Effie and Margery received points in the toffee apple competition and support sought for the Rural tearoom at the vintage market in the hall on Sunday.
