Talented pupils prepare for their annual concert

Talented young musicians from Stirling area schools are set to show off their skills at their annual concert.

The Stirling Council Schools Concert will take place at Balfron High on Friday November 17 and at the Albert Halls in Stirling on Sunday November 19.

Rehearsals are well under way and the music tuition team are delighted with the progress being made.

The youth orchestra, guitar ensemble and choir have been practicing since September and are putting the final touches to their programmes.

The wind band and orchestra will undertake two days or rehearsals at the Albert Halls prior to the concert – on Tuesday and Wednesday November 14 and 15.

Any pupils interested in getting involved can apply on the Stirling Council website but must do so before Tuesday November 7.

Tickets for the concerts are priced £6 and £4 and are available from the Albert Halls Box Office.
