Rocking for hospice
Popular charity Rock for Strathcarron is bringing two fundraising gigs to the Tolbooth before Christmas.
On Friday, November 3, three-piece The Amorettes will be performing while on Thursday, December 7, The Quireboys will be rocking the city.
The Amorettes are described as being“like Airbourne fronted by Joan Jett”and came to the fore two years ago with the release of their acclaimed album Game On. They have played a number of major festivals including T in the Park since .Tickets are £15 standing.
Classic rockers The Quireboys, who have shared a stage with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Guns‘N’Roses, will be on stage performing some of their classic songs in a stripped-back, acoustic form.
Tickets are £20-standing plus a six per cent booking fee. All profits go to Strathcarron Hospice.
