Baha’i group enjoy Holyrood event
Members of a Stirling faith community attended a special reception at the Scottish Parliament.
Three individuals from the Stirling Baha’i made their way to Holyrood for a reception hosted by Presiding Officer Ken MacIntosh MSP. The event, which took place last Wednesday, was organised to celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of Baha’u’llah.
Members Carolyn Sparey Fox played the violin at various points throughout the programme while Pat and Parvin Morrissey closed the evening with a song about Baha’u’llah.
There were a number of addresses and stories about the Baha’u’llah at the event, which was closed with a summary of what Baha’is are doing now in the world and in Scotland.
