I just wanted to write and let you know that I was one of the winners of the family pass voucher for the Blair Drummond Safari Park competition recently - we had an absolutely fantastic day thanks to your newspaper and your brilliant competitions.

I like to enter all the various competitions and I was over the moon when I got the phone call to tell me I was a winner.

We went on Saturday, October 7 as it was the day before my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it.

We were there just after opening time and that was us until 15 minutes before closing! The weather was great and we went to all the shows (sea lions and birds of prey), had our picnic, went on the boat to Chimp Island, you name it we did it!

It was an excellent day out and we only had to travel from Denny so it wasn’t too long a journey.

A great day was had so thank you ever so much. We really appreciated every moment.
