MSP welcomes uni visitors
Stirling University students were welcomed to the Scottish Parliament by Mid Scotland and Fife MSP Dean Lockhart this week.
The students enjoyed a tour and sat in for First Minister’s Questions where First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was asked about proposed income tax changes, accuracy of medical information available online and measuring outcomes for pupil equity funding.
The university is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary and has been enjoying a number of local and international events including reunions, family fun days, exhibitions and public lectures throughout 2017.
Mr Lockhart said:“This is an exciting year for the university as it continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary and I hope this visit has been valuable for the students as they continue in their careers.”
