Attack on sleeping woman is denied

-

A Stirling man is accused of entering a house in the town uninvited and sexually assaulting a sleeping woman there.

David Kemp pleaded not guilty to a charge alleging that he carried out the sexual assault in June 2016 while the woman was asleep and unable to give or withhold consent when he appeared at Stirling Sheriff Court last Wednesday.

The charge further alleges that 39- year- old Kemp, of Edzell Place, had kissed the woman on the neck and face, touched her hair, and repeatedly touched her buttocks over her clothing before seizing her around the waist.

Sheriff William Gilchrist set the trial for the sitting of December 4.
