A Bannockburn teenager t ried to headbutt his stepmother on the head.
Liam Nairn, of Quakerfield, admitted a charge of assaulting Ayesha McIlwraith or Nairn at a house in Stirling’s Hawthorn Crescent on February 26 this year and a charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.
The 19- year- old had shouted, swore uttered threats of violence, seized Ms McIlwraith by the body and attempted to butt her on the head.
His lawyer told Stirling Sheriff Court on Wednesday that while Nairn is still in contact with his father he is no longer in touch with his stepmother.
It was also pointed out that Nairn, a first offender, is now living independently in Bannockburn.
Sheriff William Gilchrist noted Nairn had been of good behaviour since admitting the charges six months ago and admonished and dismissed him.
