Admonished on abuse to his ex

A man who made abusive remarks towards his former partner at a house in Drymen was this week admonished.

Declan Mijzen had earlier this year admitted a charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner at a house in the village’s Moor Road on February 11 this year.

The 34-year-old, who has a Glasgow address, had swore and uttered abusive remarks towards former partner Rowan Hannah Inglis.

At Stirling Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Sheriff William Gilchrist admonished and dismissed Mijzen on the charge as he had been of good behaviour, but told him: “It’s on your record.

“The onus is on you to stay out of trouble.”
