- Staff reporter

Generations young and old turned out in bright sunshine for Sunday’s Remembrance Day ceremony at Bridge of Allan.

They paid their respects to the men and women who have died in conflict at the town’s war memorial on Henderson Street.

Dignitaries in attendance included Clackmannanshire and Dunblane MSP Keith Brown, Stirling MP Stephen Kerr, and depute lord lieutenant Dorothy Kinloch OBE.

Mr Brown said: “I was

honoured to take part in ceremonies across my constituency (at HMP Glenochil, Dollar and Bridge of Allan) in memory of those who have, and continue to, sacrifice their lives and freedom so that we may have ours. It was a particularly moving experience to be a part of.”
