Send us snaps of your cute pets before it’s too late
We are slowly but surely making our way through the hundreds of pictures you have been sending in for our 2018 Pet Idol competition.
Images were still coming in this week, and with a considerable backlog of pet pictures still to print, we’re announcing that all entries must be submitted before next Wednesday (January 31).
Currently we have in excess of 250 pictures and there is still room for some more – but only if you are quick.
Just remember that we need to know your pet’s name, age, what breed they are and where they are from.
If we don’t have these details we won’t be able to use the picture.
Whether your pet is a gerbil, budgie, goat, horse, rat or even something more exotic, we’re keen to hear from you.
A shortlist of ten finalists will eventually be drawn up and the winner will be decided by public vote.
The victorious pet will enter the now legendary Pet Idol hall of fame and will also secure a soon-to-be announced prize.
In the meantime here are some more of your favourite companions vying for the much sought after title.
Submit your photographs to the Observer at our office at 34 Upper Craigs, Stirling, email them to news@ stirlingobserver.co.uk or upload them to our Facebook page.
We will feature photographs in both our Wednesday and Friday editions.
Usual Media Scotland competition terms and conditions apply.
