County West win in Hamilton Trophy

Stirling County West carded a slim one-shot victory on Saturday against Argyll and Bute at Dunoon to record their second Hamilton Trophy win.

County had three winning rinks. Dougie Kerr won 36-13 against L Allan; Jason Williams won 23-21 against E Wallace while Sandy Deans finished 2413 ahead of A Scott.

Kenny Murdoch lost 18-16 to S Scott; Gary Malcolmson lost t 25-12 to B Davie while David Ferguson lost 29-9 to C Goffin. Totals: Stirling County West 120119 Argyll and Bute.

On Saturday County take on Glasgow at Doune Castle.
