A WILD FAMILY DAY OUT
Giraffes, lions, elephant, tiger and meerkats are just some of the creatures that can be seen at Blair Drummond Safari Park.
Take your chances with the cheeky monkeys in the park’s famous Macaque Drive-thru, walk with free-roaming lemurs in Lemur Land, catch the popular sea lion and bird of prey shows, take a boat ride to Chimp Island and go wild in the giant adventure play area - all included in the price of your entry ticket.
The safari park has excellent access for wheelchairs, prams and buggies. There are baby-changing facilities, ample disabled parking and it is one of the few visitor attractions in Scotland with a ‘Changing Places’toilet.
Gary Gilmour, safari park manager, said:“Blair Drummond Safari Park is a family attraction and we’re committed to ongoing improvements to the park to ensure the best possible visitors experience for our youngest visitors and their families.
“At the start of this season we installed a new under-cover outdoor play area, which includes a sandpit and play area. It’s situated between our restaurant and the giant play fort, which means parents can relax with a coffee and watch their little ones play.
“We’re a popular destination for toddlers, particularly through the week when the park is quieter. Admission is free for infants aged up to two.”
The Observer has teamed up with the safari park again to offer readers the chance to win a family pass each week.
This week’s question is: How much does it cost for a two-yearold to visit the safari park?
