Mum wants to thank riverbank lifesavers
A Bannockburn mum and her young son are looking to trace a group of young people who saved them from drowning in Callander.
Charlene Hunter (27) and her son Ryan took a day trip to the town on Sunday to soak up the sunshine.
But it almost turned to disaster when they decided to cool off at Callander Meadows.
Charlene and St Mary’s Primary pupil, Ryan, decided to go into the Eas Gobhain – one of the small rivers which feeds in to the River Teith – to combat the soaring temperature.
