Much Ado in the open air

Stirling Observer - - REVIEWS - Macrobert Arts Centre

Shakespeare’s comedy Much Ado About Nothing steps outdoors as Bard in the Botanics performs in the open air at the Macrobert on Saturday, August 4 at 7pm.

Benedick is never getting married. And Beatrice can’t imagine a man she could tolerate, let alone fall in love with. They might just be the perfect couple.

Although the path of true love certainly does not run smooth, as the lovers face obstacles both accidental and on purpose, it’s impossible not to be swept along by the original rom-com.

It’s the perfect show for a summer’s evening - and if it’s not, it will move inside to the Mainhouse.
