The western musical, based on the hit 1953 movie starring Doris Day, runs at the MacRobert Arts Centre March 26–30 next year. The company are holding an open evening for wannabe cow girls and boys on Wednesday, October 10, at 7.30pm in Holy Trinity Church Hall, 6 Albert Place, Stirling.
Society president, Carolyn Johnston said: “We’re already saddling up for our 2019 show, Calamity Jane.
“We’re looking for men and women to don their Stetsons and jump aboard the Deadwood stagecoach, as we head out to the Wild West in search of adventure.
“The musical features a wagon load of great songs, from the Black Hills of Dakota and the Deadwood Stage to Secret Love and The Windy City. It’s going to be a whip– cracking show, so please pop along to our open evening to see if you’d like to be a part of it all either on stage or behind the scenes.”
