Ring any bells?

Stirling Observer - - READERS’ PICTURES -

Today’s Memory Lane photographs were both handed in by Observer readers.

The curling photos from 1980 was sent to us by Sandra Kerr while the nurses’ photo was courtesy of Doris Clark.

We’d love to know if our readers can furnish us with more details about the pictures - anyone who knows anything about the pics or who may be in them, please get in touch at news@ stirlingobserver. co.uk or phone 01786 459416.

Also if you have any old pics you would like to share with the rest of our readers, feel free to send them in via email. Or you can visit us at 34 Upper Craigs, Stirling where we’ll scan the photo and return it to you as you wait.

Training days This photo was supplied by Doris Clark whose sister Margaret Utterson was born in Callander and started her nursing career at Stirling Royal Infirmary. Margaret then emigrated to Australia, where she worked at Manly Maternity until she retired. Margaret sadly passed away in 2013 and when it was announced in Callander Kirk, Doris met May McGregor from Killin, who now lives in Callander and who trained alongside Margaret
