Trad trio at Bridge­haugh

Folk trio Tar­ney­backle will be at Stir­ling Folk Club on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 29.

Old friends of the club, the Blackford trio com­prise Sandy Mar­shall and John and Lorna David­son, who are known for their blend of strong vo­cal har­monies us­ing a wide range of in­stru­ments .

The trio’s in­ter­pre­ta­tion of Scots songs has brought them praise from re­view­ers, and a grow­ing fan base from the ex­ten­sive live per­for­mance and ra­dio work.

Tar­ney­backle were formed in Blackford in 2000 and have re­leased six al­bums.

Their lat­est is en­ti­tled Singing Land and fea­tures a cover of Dick Gaughan’s clas­sic Both Sides The Tweed.

Tick­ets for the Stir­ling Folk Club date are priced £9.
