Trad trio at Bridgehaugh
Folk trio Tarneybackle will be at Stirling Folk Club on Monday, October 29.
Old friends of the club, the Blackford trio comprise Sandy Marshall and John and Lorna Davidson, who are known for their blend of strong vocal harmonies using a wide range of instruments .
The trio’s interpretation of Scots songs has brought them praise from reviewers, and a growing fan base from the extensive live performance and radio work.
Tarneybackle were formed in Blackford in 2000 and have released six albums.
Their latest is entitled Singing Land and features a cover of Dick Gaughan’s classic Both Sides The Tweed.
Tickets for the Stirling Folk Club date are priced £9.
