-

There will be a rare solo outing by Grammy Award-winning Alvin Youngblood Hart at the Tolbooth November 13.

He has been described as the cosmic American love child of Howlin’Wolf and Link Wray, with praises sung by everyone from Bob Dylan to guitar gods Eric Clapton and Mick Taylor.

Born in Oakland, California, Hart was influenced by the Mississippi country blues performed by his relatives.

He is known as one of the world’s foremost practitioners of country blues and has played some of the world’s most legendary venues.
