New Binos mag has top tips for young fans

-

Stirling Albion’s young fans are being given tips on exercise in a new magazine.

“Bino and Friends”has been compiled by the club’s community manager Andy Todd and volunteer Tricia Chillas, backed by Albion’s main sponsor Prudential.

“Research has shown there is a lack of basic literature which encourages children to take up exercise and lead a healthy lifestyle,” saidTricia.

“The magazine has lots of advice on exercise and healthy eating and we have managed to recruit Judy Murray OBE, John Chillas and Pat Morris of Pat’s Aerobics give top tips on taking up tennis, golf and general fitness.”The magazine is aimed at the five to 10-year age range, but encourages all the family to join in.

As well as top sporting tips, there are challenges, quizzes, crossword, a writing competition and an autograph corner.

Binos boss Kevin Rutkiewicz and No 2 Martin Hardie joined Andy Todd and Bino the Bear at last week’s launch.

The magazine costs £2, with proceeds going to the SAFC Community Programme.

Copies are available at various outlets including the Stirling Albion office at Forthbank and Physio Focus. Call 01786 450399 for more details.
