Stir­ling MSP Bruce Craw­ford has en­cour­aged lo­cals to sup­port foodbank Start Up Stir­ling in their cam­paign this Christ­mas.

Mr Craw­ford vis­ited foodbank volunteers at the week­end dur­ing their drive for do­na­tions at Stir­ling’s Tesco store. He said:“For those who strug­gle to make ends meet through­out the year, the fes­tive sea­son can fill them with dread. Coun­cil re­fer­rals to the Stir­ling foodbank have dou­bled in the past cou­ple of years. I am call­ing on those who can af­ford it to give to strug­gling fam­i­lies to visit the Start Up Stir­ling web­site and find out how they can help.”

The Start Up Stir­ling unit at 16B White­house Road re­ceives do­na­tions from Mon­day to Fri­day. There are also do­na­tion sta­tions across Stir­ling­shire, listed at https://star­tup­stir­ling. org.uk/news/2018/where-to-donate.
