Ghouls steal graveyard gates
A police investigation is underway after ghouls stole the gates from a cemetery near Killearn.
Police are probing the theft from the Killearn Woodland Cemetery in Gartness Road back in October.
The 5ft wooden gates, valued at £1000, were swiped from the graveyard sometime between 12pm on Saturday, October 20 and Friday, October 26.
It’s suspected that more than one person may have been involved in the theft and a vehicle may have been used to remove the gates, due to their size and the location of the graveyard. Police are appealing for information.
Anyone who may have witnessed the gates being removed or has any information on their whereabouts is asked to contact police on the 101 non– emergency number.
