Skaters’Christmas gift on the ice

-

Young skaters are prepare for the third annual Active Stirling Skate UK Mini Christmas show which takes place at The PEAK on December 15 and 16.

Skaters aged five-16 will put on performances ranging from absolute beginner level, up to NISA Level 1 standard.

They have worked hard to put together their Christmasthemed routines which aim to showcase some of the skills they have developed during the course of their lessons.

Also performing on the day are guest skaters from Stirling New Figure Skating Club (SNFSC), many of whom began their skating journey in Active Stirling’s Skate UK programme and now compete at open competition all over the UK.

“For many of our skaters this will be their first performance in front of an audience on the ice,” said Gary Mackintosh, Active Stirling Programme Development Manager.

“The Christmas show is an excellent opportunity for everyone in our Skate UK programme to have fun working together to show off the skills they’ve learned throughout the year.

“This is the third year of this successful show and we hope all enjoy watching our skaters showcase their skills.”

Spectators are invited to come along for free. The show is on Saturday, December 15 at 12.55pm, 2.05pm and 3.20pm and Sunday, December 16 at 11.25am and 12.35pm.
