A Stirling Girlguiding group has enjoyed a successful year following a switch to new premises.

The 3rd Stirling Rainbows moved to a Guide Hut in Glebe Avenue, Stirling, in August.

Young leader Lily Hambly (15) spent her summer on a community action project in southern Africa, visiting Lesotho Girl Guides. It was an experience of a lifetime for Lily.

Leaders, young leaders and guides also spent a weekend in Copenhagen on the Girlguiding Scotland ‘Dash to Denmark’ event in April.

Rainbows worked together to learn how to make a den and followed the trail to complete a treasure hunt, as part of their Have Adventures badge work. They finished the year at the Riversidepanto at the Cowane Centre.

Rainbows is the Girlguiding offer for girls aged five to seven and there are spaces available in units across Forth Valley.
