Keep on running and get fit with experienced leaders

-

Active Stirling has joined forces with NHS Forth Valley and Jog Scotland to launch a running group for people looking to improve their health and fitness.

The Stirling Striders had their first run on Monday, starting out from Stirling Community Hospital’s outpatients entrance.

The group is ideal for total beginners and intermediate runners and will meet every Monday, setting off for a run at 5.30pm, supported by experienced and friendly Jog Scotland leaders. Sessions are open to everyone and completely free to attend.

Christina Feaks, Active Stirling’s physical activity inclusion officer said “New Year is a great time to start new things and make positive changes in your life. We wanted to offer a free activity in the community to help people kick start their New Year, by getting out, meeting people and getting fit together in a relaxed, friendly environment.”

The Jog Scotland leader at Stirling Community Hospital is Tracy McCormack. More information by emailing stirlingstriders@outlook.com or log on to www.jogscotland.org.uk or Facebook.
