Mor­ri­son’s de­liv­ers an all-round ed­u­ca­tion

Nes­tled in the heart of the bustling coun­try town of Cri­eff, Mor­ri­son’s Academy has long been mak­ing the most of its en­vi­able lo­ca­tion to en­hance the ed­u­ca­tion of ev­ery one of its pupils.

The school’s long tra­di­tion of aca­demic suc­cess con­tin­ues to­day with a con­tem­po­rary Scot­tish cur­ricu­lum and a pro­gramme of child-cen­tred learn­ing that builds emo­tional in­tel­li­gence, cre­ativ­ity and life skills.

From Nurs­ery through to Ad­vanced Higher, spe­cial­ist teach­ers in sports, lan­guages, and cre­ative and per­form­ing arts de­liver a high stan­dard of teach­ing in a grow­ing range of sub­ject choices.

In 2018, pupils main­tained a 93 per cent SQA pass rate at Higher level, a 94 per cent pass rate at Ad­vanced Higher level and a 94 per cent pass rate at Na­tional 5 (S4).

The Mor­ri­son’s fam­ily ex­tends be­yond the cur­rent roll: for­mer pupils and staff around the world are reg­u­larly in­volved in events, ca­reers net­work­ing, and overseas trips, and are al­ways de­lighted to re­turn to visit their alma mater’s beau­ti­ful cam­pus.

The school is very easy to get to, with ex­cel­lent bus ser­vices from the Stir­ling, Falkirk, Dun­blane, Auchter­arder, Dun­ning, Bridge of Al­lan, Perth, Pit­lochry and Aber­feldy ar­eas.
