A thug who attacked patrons in Stirling and Bannockburn pubs was this week jailed for a total of ten months.

Connor Stewart, of Park Drive, Bannockburn, hit Jamie Henderson and Chelsea Hamilton with a glass tumbler during a function at Tartan Arms on April 8 last year.

He had also punched Craig Duffy – who had been out for an evening drink with his wife Carol – in Stirling’s Molly Malone’s pub on the evening of July 9, 2017.

Twenty-one-year-old Stewart had previously admitted charges of assault involving Jamie Henderson at the Tartan Arms and culpable and reckless conduct regarding Chelsea Hamilton.

The fiscal depute told Stirling Sheriff Court on Wednesday that Mr Henderson and Ms Hamilton had been in the Tartan Arms function suite with family and friends at 1.30am.
