ST MARY’S CONCERT

The latest in the church’s concert series is the Feis Fhiort Ceilidh which is on Sunday, July 21 at 3pm. The Féis Fhoirt Céilidh Trail is an annual project that allows young musicians to tour the Stirling, Falkirk and Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park area throughout the summer. Nadia French, Evie Waddell, Robbie Subke, Megan Leishman, Gregor Rodger and Mairi Docherty will showcase their talents on clarsach, fiddle, Scots and Gaelic song, accordion and guitar. Entry by donation.

ST MARY’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

On Sunday at 8am, Holy Communion (Anglican Book of Common Prayer) is at St Anthony’s RC Church, Balfron and 11.15am at St Mary’s. All welcome. Contact Rector Richard Grosse 01877 382887.

CALLANDER KIRK

Early worship on Sunday including Communion is at 10am in the kirk hall led by Rev Jeff McCormick (John 14 1-14). Morning service is at 11.15am in Callander Kirk followed by informal Communion and Time for Silence is at 7pm, also in the kirk. Teapot Cafe is on Wednesdays from 10.30am until noon in the Yvonne Fuller Library. All welcome.

SUMMER FAIR

On Saturday, June 29, Callander Kirk Summer Fair will be held in the kirk hall from 10am until oon where there will be scrumptiou­s teas, delicious home baking, gift/craft stalls. Admission: Adults £3, Children £1.50, under fives free.
