The next meeting of Blairlogie SWI will be held tonight (Wednesday) in the Scout Hall, Menstrie. Please note meetings are now starting at 7pm. This month’s speaker is Donna Wheater from Lochies School who will talk about the school and the care and excellent work they do for the children. The competitio­ns are a school photo and four Christmas sweeties.

Bridge of Allan Parish Church and Bridge of Allan Co-op and will be hosted by a team of locally recruited volunteers who will guarantee a warm welcome to all.

LECROPT KIRK

Sunday worship is at 11.30am, Creche and Sunday school available. Door duty as per rota. Joint evening service in St Blane’s at 6.30pm with both services conducted by Rev Gary Caldwell. Thursday at Lecropt continues tomorrow (November 14) from 2-4pm. Fun,friendship and a cuppa, all welcome. Friendship Circle meets on Monday, November 18 in the hall from 2-4pm. This will be a film afternoon.

BRIDGE OF ALLAN PARISH CHURCH -

Sunday worship takes place at 11am and will be conducted by Rev Dan Harper. There will be a creche and Sunday school and coffee fellowship will take place in the Chalmers Hall afterwards­e. Bible Study Group “The Challenge of Paul” continues in the vestry tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30pm. The topic for discussion during the session is ‘The Romanisati­on of a Radical’. This is a joint study group with St Saviour’s Episcopal Church and will run each Wednesday until November 20. The Thursday Night Group will be meeting tomorrow (November 14) in the session room at 7.30pm and will be joined by Dr James McGhee, who will talk about chiropract­ic care. On Monday, November 18, the National Prisoner’s Week Service will take place in the Chalmers Hall at 6.30pm. The service will be followed by refreshmen­ts. The Guild is holding its fun bingo night fundraiser on Tuesday, November 19 in the Chalmers Hall at 7.30pm. Ticket price is £8, which includes a light supper and bingo books. Tickets can be bought in advance at Coffee Fellowship on Sundays before the event or come along and pay on the door! in my lifetime- The Queen’s Coronation”. All welcome. Cambusbarr­on Community Developmen­t Trust is hosting a coffee morning with Christmas craft for the children on Saturday, November 16 from 10am-noon in Bruce Memorial Church Hall. All welcome .
