Who will collar top title?

Have you got the cutest, friendliest or most adorable pet in Stirlingshire?

Everyone who owns a cat, dog, rabbit, lizard or gerbil may believe their little pal is the best in town.

But now, the Stirling Observer is giving you the chance to prove it. Today we are launching our Pet Idol 2019 competition.

It is the fifth time we have run Pet Idol and we can’t wait to see snaps of your pet pals, big and small. We want you to send us pictures of your little furry, scaly or feathered friends in a celebration of all things animal.

All you need to do is fill out the form below and attach a picture of your pet to enter.

Got more than one star pet in the making? Make sure each has their own form to give them their moment in the spotlight.

The closing date for entries is Friday, December 6, 2019 at noon. All individual entries we receive through the online form will appear in the Stirling Observer in the weeks up until Christmas, in both Wednesday and Friday editions – so mark your calendars for some festive p-‘awws’.

From the submitted contenders, our expert judging panel will choose the 10 pets they feel embody the spirit of Pet Idol, whether that’s a sassy kitty with attitude, an adorable pup or a gorgeous guinea pig.

The shortlisted top 10 will be announced in the Stirling Observer in the New Year, week commencing January 6, 2020, along with the voting vouchers you can use to vote for who you think should be crowned the ultimate Pet Idol.

The pet who gets the most overall votes gets the coveted title of Stirling Observer Pet Idol 2019, as well as the top prize of £150 to spend in-store on your treasured pet, courtesy of the wonderful
