Only two nights were frost-free and on Wednesday, November 13, we recorded our lowest Stirling temperature of the autumn so far at -3.2 degrees Centigrade.
On the evening of Sunday, November 10, rural areas to the north of Stirling recorded their first moderate snowfall of the season which for a few hours affected some roads.

Looking to the week ahead, after a cold start to the week we will lose the overnight frosts in the second half of the week as the temperature begins to rise, peaking around nine degrees Centigrade during the weekend.
Any brief wet weather midweek could be wintry but with a few showers forecasted towards the end of the week and weekend it will fall as rain.
Wind will increase slightly during the second part of the week. As we move into next week it looks like staying frost-free with rain at times.
Earliest sunrise will be at 8.02am with the earliest sunset at 3.51pm.
