Have you got the cutest, friendliest or most adorable pet in Stirlingshire?

If so, here’s the chance to prove it as this week we are launching our Pet Idol 2019 competition.

It is the fifth time we have run Pet Idol and we can’t wait to see snaps of your pet pals, big and small. All you need to do is fill out the form below and attach a picture of your pet to enter.

Got more than one star pet in the making? Make sure each has their own form to give them their moment in the spotlight.

Closing date for entries is Friday, December 6, 2019 at noon. All individual entries we receive through the online form will appear in the Stirling Observer in the weeks up until Christmas, in both Wednesday and Friday editions – so mark your calendars for some festive p-‘awws’.

From the submitted contenders, our expert judging panel will choose the 10 pets they feel embody the spirit of Pet Idol, whether that’s a sassy kitty with attitude, an adorable pup or a gorgeous guinea pig.

The shortlisted top 10 will be announced in the Stirling Observer in the new year, week commencing January 6, 2020, with the vouchers you can use to vote for who you think should be crowned Pet Idol.

The pet who gets the most overall votes gets the coveted title of Stirling Observer Pet Idol 2019, as well as the top prize of £150 to spend in-store on your treasured pet, courtesy of the wonderful Dixie Doodles, a shop for pet lovers created by pet lovers in the heart of Stirling.

Health, well-being and happiness of animals is Dixie Doodles’top priority and whichever pet wins our coveted prize – Dixie Doodles has just the thing to shower them with love. Two runners-up will also receive £50 to use in-store to treat their star pets.

With a new store opening in Bridge of Allan, Dixie Doodles has everything you need locally to give your pet the care and fun they deserve.

Once you have the perfect photo, go to www.stirlingobserver.co.uk/ pet-idol and fill out the form, giving your details and those of your pet and then hit send.

We can only accept entries through the form on our website, not on social media or by post.
