-

Saturday’s Stirling Farmers’Market returns to Port Street for the final time this year from 10am to 4pm with 28 traders offering some of the finest food from across the country.

All the usual favourites will be back such as chilli jams and jellies, fish and shellfish, wild venison and game, highland beef, pork, handmade preserves, sourdough breads, award-winning cheeses, Ayrshire vegetables, free range hens and ducks eggs, fudge, tablet, Lebanese deli products, pastries, cakes and World Championship-winning pies.

If you fancy a wee festive drink to accompany your Christmas dinner there will be a wide variety to choose from with craft beers, fruit wines and ciders, traditional mead and birch-water and artisan gins.

And for those of you who’ve left your present shopping until the last minute there will be a range of gift options from soaps, candles, needlecrafts, jewellery, hampers and gift packs.

The first Stirling Farmers’Market of 2020 is on Saturday, January 11.
