The church in King Street, opposite the Golden Lion Hotel, holds Sunday divine services at 6.30pm. Healing services in the Healing Sanctuary Tuesdays 7-8pm and on Saturdays and Mondays 11am-noon. CHURCH OF THE HOLY RUDE

Sunday’s joint service will take place at 11am in Viewfield Erskine Church and will be conducted by Rev Alan Miller. The children will have their Nativity play during the service. There will be a Chrsitmas Eve Christingl­e service in Viewfield Erskine Church from 6.30pm and Christingl­es will be made in the hall from 6.30pm. Watchnight Service in the church on Christmas Eve begins at 11pm with community carol singing and the service at 11.30pm. All welcome to this annual service. There will be no services on Chrsitmas Day.

HOLY TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH

On Friday, December 20 Holy Communion will take place at 11am and on Sunday, Holy Communion will be at 8.30am followed by Christingl­e and All Age Eucharist at 10.30am. The third in a series of Advent Study Groups will take place today (Wednesday) at 10.30am in the Rectory and tomorrow (Thursday) at 8.15pm in the Choir Vestry. Christmas at Holy Trinity begins with Midnight Mass at 11pm on Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) and on Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day) Holy Communion will take place at 8.30am followed by Sung Eucharist at 10.30am. On Sunday, January 5, Holy Communion is at 8.30am followed by Sung Eucharist at 10.30am. The same day there will be an Epiphany Carol Service at 6.30pm. ST COLUMBA’S CHURCH

A Service of Lessons and Carols will take place at 11am on Sunday led by Rev. Elinor Gordon. Activities, in age appropriat­e groups, will be available for younger people (creche to teens) and everyone is most welcome. At 6.30pm on Tuesday, December 24 the Christmas Eve Family Carol Service is followed by tea/ coffee and mince pies in the main hall and at 11.30pm Watchnight Service will be led by Rev Ray Gaston and preceded by tea/ coffee and shortbread in the main hall. There will be a short Family Christmas Day Service on December 25 at 10am led by Rev Elinor Gordon. The Weekly Coffee Club on Thursdays at 10.30am is a chance to catch up with old friends and new, while enjoying company and a blether. The church office is open Tuesday to Friday 9.30am to noon, but will be closed from December 20-19 inclusive.
