Walking hockey project at PEAK

-

Active Stirling in partnership with Stirling Wanderers Hockey Club and Scottish Hockey are bringing walking hockey to The PEAK with sessions starting on Tuesday, January 7.

Walking football and netball have already been established by Active Stirling - slower versions of the sports for people who would like to get involved in a team sport but are looking for less physically demanding ways to exercise.

Active Stirling’s Ruth Henderson, Community Activation Officer said: “The sessions not only provide that tailored level of exercise but also a fun, social activity which in turn improves physical and mental health.”

Free taster session is on Tuesday, January 7 at The PEAK then every Tuesday from 11am-noon for ages 16 and up. More information on 01786 273555.
