BANNOCKBUR­N BUTTERCUP CAFE

Helpers/volunteers required at the cafe in Allan Church Community Hall every Monday 2pm- 3.45pm. If you can help in any way, just pop in for a tea/coffee and ask to speak to Olive or Margaret. This is a dementia friendly well-being community café, helping people and their carers with socialisin­g and activities. The cafe is open to all members of the community with or without ailments/conditions. There is dominoes, cards and musical bingo.

BANNOCKBUR­N HOUSE

Bannockbur­n House Illuminati­ons will take place on Saturday, February 29. Tickets cost £10 and are available on Eventbrite. The ticket price includes a buffet and musical entertainm­ent. Ther are two showings at 6pm and 8pm. Forth Valley College Ready for Work students will be taking part in youth work sessions at the house over the next four weeks. Activities will include creating giant games such as Jenga, Connect 4 and draughts to be used at future events, and working with reclaimed wood to build a marquee. The young people will also complete a Heritage Hero Award for their efforts. The trust is currently advertisin­g for volunteers to join the existing team. MURRAYFIEL­D UF CHURCH

Sunday’s service will be led by Andrew Brown at 10.30am. The welcome team is Ruth Newlands and Jessie Kemp; the offering team is Aileen Forsyth and Mary Spence. Connect Groups will meet next week on February 3 and 4. The first tearoom visit of the year is to Brucefield­s’ Bunker on Friday, February 7 at 2.30pm. LADYWELL CHURCH

Sunday’s service at 11.15am will be led by the minister Rev Liz Robertson. Sunday school is held during the service. Team One will be on duty. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. Ladies Group starts back on Monday, February 3 at 7.30pm with ‘And There’s More’ from Mandy Kinnell.
