Meet the winners
You voted in your hundreds - so much so we had to delay the result in order to count them!
And today we can announce the three winners in the 2020 Stirling Observer Bonnie Babies competition.
Across six editions of the paper in April, we published photos of 130 children in three categories - 0-9 months; 9-18 months and 18 months to three years.
More than 830 votes were cast in total for the youngsters and the winners are as follows:
0-9 months - Maisie McCluskie from Plean; 9-18 months - Jessica Forson from Raploch and 18 months to three years - Harley Douglas from St Ninians.
Each of the three category winners receive an amazing prize courtesy of Alan Hutchison Photography in Bannockburn, whose multi-talented team specialise in child photo shoots.
The prize, worth almost £500, includes a professional photo shoot at Alan Hutchison Photography’s studio and a stunning 50cm x 40cm aluminium wall art print of their favourite image from the shoot. The winners will also be treated to a separate private viewing appointment to see the fully-edited images before making their choice.
Ten runners-up in each category will get a prize worth £150 – a professional photo shoot at Alan Hutchison Photography’s studio and a framed desk print of their favourite image from the photo shoot.
Maisie’s mum Chloe White roped in family and friends to vote for her four-and-half month-old daughter.
“We went out and bought 18 copies of the paper in the last week in a final bid - only to find out the closing date for entries was the week before,” she said. “But it didn’t matter thankfully.”
Jessica’s mum Lucy Smith was delighted to hear the news. “I would just like to say thank you to everyone who voted for her.”
And Harley’s mum Toni Taylor was in agreement. He’ll be two on July 1 and she said: “I’ve got family and friends in Coalsnaughton and St Ninians to thank for this.”
We’ll be in touch with the winners and runners-up regarding prizes.
