Charred deerfind
Police are investigating after a suspected scorched carcass of a deer was discovered in Bridge of Allan.
Officers are carrying out investigations alongside the SSPCA after a member of the public found the apparent charred remains of a roe deer in woodland.
It’s understood that the deer was discovered off a path that runs behind Stirling University, towards Logie Kirk, on the edge of the Hermitage woods.
It’s currently unknown if this was part of a criminal act.
Anyone with information is being urged to call 101 and quote the incident number 1019 of July 22.
