There have been no new coronaviru­s deaths in Stirling in the last week.

According to latest figures from the National Records of Scotland the number of people in the city to have died from Covid-19 since the outbreak remains at 55.

There has also been no new deaths in Clackmanna­shire in the last week, with a total of 48.

In Stirling, 19 of the 55 deaths have occurred within care homes, eight at home and 28 in hospital.

Across the entire NHS Forth Valley area, two people have died in the last week, taking the total of 239. The two additional deaths in the past week occurred within care homes.

In total, 121 deaths have happened in care homes, 24 at home and 94 in hospital.
