THORNHILL NORRIESTON CHURCH
On Sunday, July 26, worship will be led by the Moderator of the General Assembly, the Right Rev Dr Martin Fair, who will be doing virtual pulpit supply. Dr Fair has offered his services in this way as a gift to the whole Church of Scotland for two Sundays so that ministers and their families can enjoy some holiday time. The service will be on email in the usual way and on Facebook and will be available on On Demand by Phone, 01786 585122. Last Sunday the minister, the Rev Ellen Larson Davidson, continued to think about seeds and harvest and the weeds which can endanger the crops and disappoint the potential of the harvest. We can be considered both workers for the harvest of God’s fields and a harvest field ourselves. The weeds have to be thought about as well as the good seed. Members all wish Ellen and her family a refreshing and nourishing holiday.
