Help to cut your energy costs

-

Stirling Citizens Advice Bureau this week urged those concerned about rising heating bills to get in touch for advice on reducing costs.

The charity is continuing its Winter Warmth Campaign as more and more families have to adjust to home schooling, home working and being placed on furlough.

Stirling CAB chief executive Craig Anderson said this week:“with both temperatures and incomes continuing to drop, the Stirling CAB Winter Warmth campaign seeks to raise awareness of its specialist energy and fuel poverty services across the whole district.

“Many people are at home more as a result of the new lockdown and are using more electricity and gas.

“The new specialist Stirling CAB services could really help – saving money, maximising incomes, switching energy provider, accessing grants and resolving fuel and money-related problems.

“Please get in touch and the team are ready and willing to assist you”.

Stirling CAB’S Winter Warmth Campaign January newsletter also draws attention to the support that can be found in managing energy efficiency, finding access to grants, and highlighting eligible sources of income.

Support can be obtained through telephone and face-to-face appointments at Stirling CAB’S Upper Craigs offices, or in the home, once the Scottish Government deem it safe to do so.
