LADYWELL CHURCH
Remembrance Service on Sunday is at the earlier time of 10.45am to allow everyone to take part in the two-minute silence at 11am. Masks are still required and we would still encourage you to maintain a sensible distance from those not in your social bubble. Names still need to be taken for track and trace purposes. If you have booked a place but are unable to come or if you have tested positive for Covid please phone Anne Renton on 01786 813852. There will be a box in the vestibule until November 28 if anyone would like to donate a suitable gift for the residents of Fairview Care Home. Please do not gift wrap your donations.
ALLAN CHURCH
Service on Sunday, November 14 at 11.15am will be led by Rev Peter Gill. Tea and coffee will be available in the church hall after the church service before crossing over to the Cenotaph to lay wreaths and pay further respects to the fallen. Welcome Team 1 on duty. Presently the church is lit up red at night as a mark of respect for the Centenary of The Poppy Appeal and Remembrance Day. Board and Session meeting tonight (Wednesday) at 7pm. Bible Chat Group meets next in the large hall on Thursday, November 18 at 2pm. All welcome.
MURRAYFIELD UF CHURCH
Services continue in the church hall on Sundays at 10.30am. (Remember your mask). This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday, and in addition to the morning service, there will be a short Act of Remembrance at the war memorial at 12.15pm. Services continue to be available on YouTube at Murrayfield UF Online. This Sunday is the final date for bringing along your shoebox for Operation Christmas Child’s Shoebox Appeal. Contact Ann Lomax if you would like yours collected or want details of how to do it online. The Indoor Walking Group is on zoom on Mondays and Fridays at 4.00pm - details from Jean Hastings; and there is a gentle stroll round Ladywell Park (weather permitting) on Friday at 2pm.

BLAIRLOGIE HERITAGE AND COMMUNITY TRUST
The Reading Room premises have been deep cleaned and are available again for meetings or leisure class activities. Subject to ongoing Covid conditions and regulations, the trust is anxious to bring the Reading Room back into use and regular professional cleaning is in place. Any user making a booking will be responsible for Covid precautions, including the use of the hand sanitiser provided and keeping a record of all persons present. The hall has a data projector and connection cables which will work with any laptop, except Apple. It also has a sound system and a music player. Booking conditions and a booking form are on the village website www. blairlogie-scotland.org. There is a public car park nearby. BRAEHEAD STIRLING NORTH PARISH CHURCH
The Sunday service will take place at 10.30am and will be led by Rev Scott McInnes. This Sunday, a Service of Remembrance will be held in the church, starting at the slightly earlier time of 10.50am. The service will be conducted by Rev. Dan Harper. Sunday School continues to meet in the Chalmers Hall. An Act of Remembrance for the village will also take place in the Memorial Park at 2pm on Sunday. Remembrance Sunday service will begin at 10.45am and will be led by elders and members of the congregation. Everyone welcome. Please wear a mask. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 17 from 1pm to 3pm in the community centre. The speaker will be Jennifer McEwan from Clan Artisan who will be talking about the range of artisan foods on offer and there will be an opportunity to purchase some of the products. Competitions: two home made soda scones and a handmade Christmas card. On Tuesday, November 23 from 1pm to 3pm in the community centre when there be a Christmas Craft afternoon. Worship is taking place as usual every Sunday at 11.00am in the Kirk. Some welcome changes have occured. The choir and congregation are also able to sing albeit wearing their masks so come along in good voice.
