Closures for M-way work

-

Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland is carrying out essential coring investigation works on sections of the M876 and M9, resulting in overnight slip road closures.

Signed diversion routes are in place nightly from 8.30pm until 6am, ending Friday (April 1).

For the safety of road workers and motorists, the following closures will be in place.

Works on the M876 Junction 2 eastbound off-slip will require an overnight closure tonight (Wednesday). A signed diversion will be implemented via M9 Junction 8 on-slip, M9 Junction 7 off-slip and the M876 Junction 3 off-slip where traffic will turn and head towards M876 Junction 2 westbound off-slip. This will add approximately 10 minutes (eight miles) to affected journeys.

Works on the M9 Junction 10 northbound off- slip will require one overnight closure tomorrow (Thursday). A full slip closure with a signed diversion via Keir Roundabout will be in place, where traffic will turn and head back towards M9 Junction 10 southbound off-slip. This will add approximately five minutes (5.4 miles) to affected journeys.
