ALLAN CHURCH TUESDAY COFFEE CLUB

The club will run on the first and third Tuesday of each month due to reduced numbers of helpers. Next meeting is and April 19. It will still be from 10-11.30am. If you would like to help out please come along and speak to a member of the team. Organisers are looking forward to seeing everyone again. ST SAVIOUR’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

Today (Wednesday) there will be a Quiet Eucharist at 11am in the Choir Vestry. The Lent Course continues in the evening on Zoom. Sunday, April 10 is Palm Sunday - at 10am there is the celebration of Christ’s victorious entry into Jerusalem. Palm crosses will be distributed during the service which will be led by Sue White (Lay reader) and Nick Price (Lay reader) will read the Passion narrative from Luke’s Gospel. On Monday, April 11 there will be a celebration of Compline. Compline or Night Prayer is the final service of the day and emphasises spiritual peace. Sue White will be leading Stations of the Cross at 7pm on Tuesday, April 12. The objective of the stations is to help the Christian to make a spiritual pilgrimage along the Via Dolorosa - symbolising the journey of Christ to Calvary. Everyone is welcome to any of these services. There are refreshments after the Wednesday and Sunday services.
